Our Mission
The Mission of The Narrows Botanical Gardens is to create a place of rest and relaxation for the entire community by:
• Displaying gardens that will delight the public both visually and sensorially.
• Educating the public on horticulture and garden architecture.
• Teaching respect and preservation of our native flora and fauna to children and adults.
• Promoting the arts with free cultural events.
Narrows Botanical Gardens Grants!
We are excited to announce that once again the Narrows Botanical Gardens is the recipient of a NYC Green Fund Grassroots Grant! ​
​This round we were awarded a two year grant that will enable us to make some big changes to the Fragrant Pathway creating a new Sensory Garden exhibit to launch in spring 2025.
